I
Procedure

What is a thread lift?

Thread lift is the upward suspension of tissue and the stimulation of collagen production using special absorbable threads (PDO, PLLA, PCL) placed under the skin.

Ideal for those who cannot — or do not want to — wait for surgery, but seek noticeable tightening.

Threads dissolve in the body within 6–18 months, but their effects last longer as they stimulate collagen production along the line of placement.

II
Techniques

Method selection.

The most suitable technique for the patient is selected among the main approaches below:

01

Face Lift

Lifting of the jowl area, mid-face, and jawline.

02

Fox Eyes

Upward-outward lifting of the brow tip and temple — a non-surgical alternative.

03

Neck

A fine thread network for neck laxity.

III
Candidates

Who is a candidate?

Ideal for individuals with early- to mid-stage laxity who prefer to avoid surgery.

  • Moderate laxity between ages 30–55
  • Those unsuitable for or avoiding surgery
  • Those seeking a quick-recovery solution
  • Those wanting fox eyes effect without surgery
  • Those seeking a "trial" before committing to surgery

Note: In advanced laxity, thread lift may not be sufficient — face lift surgery is recommended in such cases.

IV
Recovery

Process timeline.

First 24 – 48 hours

Mild swelling and tightness. Relieved with cold application.

Days 3 – 5

Swelling largely subsides. Return to social life.

Weeks 2 – 3

Tightness fades, final effect becomes clear.

Months 6 – 18

Threads dissolve — collagen production continues. Re-application possible.
